This adapter enables the use of land-based headphones with a 6.3 mm (1/4”) jack plug on Garrett metal detectors such as the ATX, AT Max, AT Gold, AT Pro, and Sea Hunter models. Please note that it is not suitable for underwater use. When connected, audio will be routed exclusively through the headphones, automatically muting the detector’s speaker, provided the headphone input impedance is 10,000 ohms or less.
